Visit of the Jewels of Inagoj
Hike through the cliffs to the waterholes.
They hide at the very end of a 2.5 km hike along the coast, climbing high coral cliffs, climbing to a very pretty viewpoint, before plunging into three sinkholes buried in the vegetation. Orientation on the plateau is not the easiest, but your guide knows the way by heart. It is advisable to leave early to reach the magnificent water holes (the famous jewels) when the sun is at its zenith, in order to benefit from optimal lighting.
Welcome supplement
- Bring hiking boots and bottled water. Allow 3 h 30 to 4 h 30 from Luengöni. It's best to reach the waterholes when the sun is high in the sky, to get the best light for photos. Distance: just over 5 km round trip.
