Fayaoué Beach
The longest beach in New Caledonia, a ribbon of more than 20 km of pure white sand!
In Ouvéa, the leeward coast enjoys a very long beach. An almost uninterrupted tranquil ribbon of pristine white sand, Fayaoué beach is 22 km long, stretching from the Mouli bridge to Wadrilla, making it the largest beach in Caledonia. Here, you will be spoilt for choice where to put down your pareo and find a quiet corner: whatever the day or time, there is no one! Just a bunch of children practising complex leaps in the turquoise water, and a lone fisherman throwing his net with a well-rehearsed and timeless motion.
