Five days to celebrate the avocado!
This year, the Nece tribe welcomes you for five days of celebration dedicated to the avocado and the Nengone terroir, from May 8 to 12. Take advantage of the homestay package offered to make the fun last!The reputation of the Maré Avocado Festival, which returns for the 31st year, is well established. Around the dozens of different varieties of the star of the festival, it is the entire terroir of Nengone that the inhabitants of Nece and neighboring tribes are keen to help you discover. And beyond that, it is the daily life and culture of the island that they invite you to share in a friendly atmosphere.
Food stands, producers' market, demonstrations, information and farm visits... the Maré avocado will no longer have any secrets for you!
On the site of the Nece tribe, facing the sea, cultural events, craft stands, traditional songs and dances, concerts will punctuate these five days of festivities, and the tourist activities offered on site will allow you to discover the charms of the island of Nengone.
